Strategic Design, as introduced in this course, uses design thinking tools—like research, prototyping, and iteration—not only to improve products and services, but also to shape strategic choices, navigate complexity, and drive innovation across systems and teams.
The course content and methods are relevant for business professionals, product owners, entrepreneurs, team leads, and anyone working in fields where understanding user needs and navigating complexity are essential.
The course focuses on developing practical skills in strategic design, user research, problem reframing, ideation, prototyping, and iterative testing. Participants will gain the ability to systematically analyze user needs, identify strategic opportunities, and generate solutions that are both user-centered and aligned with broader organizational goals.
This approach helps reduce the risk of investing in misaligned initiatives and supports more informed, effective decision-making.
Through eight structured, hands-on sessions, participants will engage in collaborative exercises that simulate real workplace challenges. This practical experience equips them with tools to apply design thinking at a strategic level, enhancing innovation capacity, leadership, and overall project outcomes.
