What I talk about ...

When it comes to sharing, we all have issues that we could happily talk about, as well as knowledge and accumulated experience that we would gladly share. We could all tell many interesting stories and could revise with irony the years that have passed and the stories that eventually made us what we are today.

What is also interesting is that experience accumulates so quickly that what was considered relevant only a few years ago could nowadays be regarded as outdated, as archival material; but every little job that we accomplish now pushes us towards greater goals.

With age, the inadmissibility of all that is new increases—but when taking a step towards it, everything changes: interesting processes are born (mostly in our brains) and spread out over our world, and imperceptible changes slowly create a new reality.

These people might not have been so successful if they had not believed that novelty and constant development can change one’s life—and the world!

Today, time is a key resource, and using it wisely is closely tied to achieving success.

The rhythm of the 2000s, for example, seems to flow like a slow river compared to now.

New professions have emerged that were not that popular 10-15 years ago, or simply

not sufficiently well-known.

Interesting facts

When Xerox started to talk about the concept of customer-focused design in the 1980s, this took everyone by surprise. Until then, the priorities of companies had been distributed in a different way, and the idea that they should be focused upon their customers was not that popular.

In 1995, Apple created a ‘User Experience Architect’ role, bringing about another revolution in the consciousness of that era.

The profession of ‘UX/UI Designer’ is currently considered to be the 6th most well-paid job in the world. Most practitioners are 20-30 years old—but an older generation has also become interested in this field, and the number of people who are keen to practice this profession has accordingly increased.

To me, the best means of learning is to interact with new people and to read. Both introduce me to new and interesting characters, who in turn inspire me and motivate me to try to figure out new ideas and trends.

I hope that I have also played a similar role in other people’s lives.

Interesting facts

I very often hear people confidently saying that brand strategies will very soon be written with the help of ChatGPT, and that artificial intelligence programs will be capable of producing work as good as that prepared by brand strategists. Honestly, while it is crucial to employ AI for assistance, information gathering, and correction, entrusting the entire creative process to technology appears to be quite surreal.Discussions on this topic occur regularly, and I actively participate in them, though they have increased lately. Whether you trust me or not, age, geographical location, and various other factors hold no significance. The process of development is continuous, and we all participate in it, whether willingly or not.

So, as the saying goes, "To keep on going, you have to keep up the rhythm."
